My Blog

Time to get serious!

Ok, so maybe the title is a bit dramatic!! lol,

Well Christmas is on its way!!! it's time to get planning!!! i'm working hard to get pieces together for Bristol Blue as well as get my pieces labelled and up on display in the Bristol Marial Arts Dojo!!!

But my other new avenue i have been wondering down is the more refined, more high end style of jewellery!! I have just made a nice little investment in some sterling silver wire and i already own far too many high end beautiful gemstones, so.... perfect match!! i'm doing more finer pieces to really show off the stones and not lose the beauty!

Here are a few of my pieces, I will be listing them on the website in the next few days!!! I hope you like them!!!

This is a Sterling silver pendant, it's not too large, just over an inch including the bail!! the stone is a stunning citrine!

As most of you know, i also take custom orders, and was very proud to make this special 60th Birthday present, Sterling silver and a dourado opal, it was  a challenge as the stone is undrilled but i love how it turned out!

And finally, i have been playing about with sterling silver wire and patina!!! its a very scary process but i love the outcome!!! i am officially addicted!!!

So, this stunning citrine stone has been set in sterling silver wire with a splash of black diamond nuggets, i took it from super shiny silver to dark black and then polished it up to a nice grey silver to add texture

I also had a little bit of fun and took part in a Hanna Nicole Finish it Challenge, she gave the first couple of steps and you had to do your own take, i loved this and I love the outcome of this one, again, sterling silver wire has been taken from shiny silver to a lovely textured deep grey and I feel it really shows off the weaves and adds depth and texture to the piece.

So, there you go! a taster of what I have been up to lately!  I will keep you updated as i progress :)

I have a late show on Thursday and haven't done a train challenge for quite a while so i think i will definitely have to do one!! feel free to suggest a challenge for me :)

IT is just mind boggling how you know just where a wire will sit, how it will look and stay.PERFECTION.

Jewelry makes any woman happy, especially these were as beautiful as the ones posted here. Beautifully created jewelry pieces with a touch of sophistication that makes any woman happy. Its not surprising that I read a lot of positive reviews, written by satisfied clients themselves at http://pickwriters.com/ to serve as your reference.
